So I'm trying to procure a Wii so I can start uploading stuff onto the site as soon as Blur comes out, but I'm running into a conundrum which is that supply is really limited, which I didn't expect a month after X-mas.

So if I go with E-bay, I have to admit that I'm an E-bay novice. Does anyone know any reputable Wii-sellers on E-bay I can go through? What advice does someone have for getting a Wii online?

I can do the online order, but trolling the various sites becomes bothersome, so I found this page if anyone wants to have a one-stop-shop for checking online orders:

EDIT: Well, I caved and bought the "Gamers Pack" from Gamestop, which came with two games I didn't want, but it came with everything I needed, memory card, extra Wiimote and Controller, etc. So I don't have to do any shopping when I get it. It doesn't ship until the 28th though.

Anyway, continue to use this thread to track down Wiis if you need them.

I didn't check on the price but they weren't special bundles. Just the regular core system with one controller.

Thanks dog, I appreciate that. I think I'll cancel my order and just see if I can find one from the major stores, since they're not as hard to find as I thought. That way I'm not paying an arm and a leg for games I won't play.

Well, I hit every store I could get to in a reasonable time today and not a single one had a Wii. My CC company cancelled my Gamestop order cuz they thought it was fraud.

I'm not sure I"m gonna get one before the game comes out at this point. I guess I can keep on trying.

Anyone got any hook-ups they can...hook me up with?

Hahaha, no, the kind of thing I'm talking about is buying one and then selling it to me for the price of the Wii and shipping, and I'll gladly reimburse whoever. I just don't know if I'm gonna have the opportunity to find one before the game comes out.

Man, all I can say is good luck. I have been trying to no end to get a Wii, mainly for this game but also for a few others that are coming too. I refuse to pay $400 on Amazon for a $250 console, I don't care how long I have to wait to get one.

Try nowinstock.net's e-mail notification service. I haven't tried them for consoles, but they're fairly reliable regarding controllers. You just have to get to the site quickly.

Try the not-so-gaming-related stores and phone every week for shipment info: Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, etc.
