Return of Online?

With all the next gen consoles being decently wired up for online gaming, will we see a breath of fresh air with the chance of online gaming on SSX Blur?

We don't know whether Cac's will be available, but if we do it'll mean for individuality when gaming others and a chance to really rack up our scores for the world to see.

Discuss all here of what could potentially be happening.

To be honest, I doubt it. There isn't an online service for the Wii yet, is there? Maybe at some point, but not for SSX Blur since the release date now is at March 29,2007. My gondee-sense says no...

The wii has online but from what I hear, it's a bitch to get it online.

all you need is a wireless router if not you can usb lan if computer is to far away go to your local best buy or target or circuit or wherever you go and ask for WiFi MAX all you need to do is install that into your computer and put the otehr corresponding part to your wii's usb port and you have online all you have to do is get the firmware updates
wii should be going ot onlie gaming sometime next year...

I browsed the internet with my Wii an hour or so ago. It's great! You can watch videos on youtube! hehe

someone who has a wii on my katamari board used it to get to the board and even play some of the arcade games with it(i think she said nanaca worked for her)

I'd love to see SSX online again, especially since I didn't really start playing the SSX series until just before the SSX3 server went offline. :dead

If EA is simply mixing other SSX games to make a new one, maybe they won't have to do quite so much work to give Blur online capability. Then again, the Wii is a new platform, which might require starting from scratch.

As gondee asked above, is there another Wii game that currently plays online?

I don't believe there are any online games yet. I think they had said some time next year games would start to include online. I think, I'm not so sure.

Yes, Pokemon Battle Revolution is currently online for the Wii in Japan now.

Super Swing Golf which is coming out relatively soon will also be online.
