Sorry if I missed it but, would it be real time or maybe we'd be able to choose our environment settings?

If you look carefully at the second puzzle, you can see a notification about "more riders ready" or something at the top of the screen
and if you look at this image here:

You can see that it's the start of an event, but now there's a check list on the right.
I'm only guessing here but, that looks like a lobby and I think that notification will say something along the lines of "The game will start when more riders are ready."

And the first puzzle has (i'm still only guessing here) numerous gamertags in yellow as opposed to the light blue we normally see above ghosts... But meh, I might be wrong

I'm really not too sure about the environment settings you mentioned, but maybe...
