I have to agree with vix. The OT stuff (both the cover and the guide) was too stylized to read. That one is just about right.

see, with this one, i think there's less to distract your eye from the point of the cover, the snowboarder.

the us cover is so distracting because you don't know where the focus is.

Wasn't the US cover grinding down a rail? This guy is just flying through the air. It's much better.

And from a graphic design standpoint, they don't really need the small boarder in the center - just make the main figure larger and move him over a little more.
