But anyways, I think this new Allegra is unimpressive. She's just got this pointless deer-in-headlights look, and I think she looks more like Jessica Simpson than Sandra Bullock. Which is also disappointing, because neither of them are badass.

And I see the Bullock resemblance, but I just personally see more Simpson in her. Neither of them really personify extreme snowboarding though.

Well, I will say I'm really glad she's still in the game...I think it'd be an incredibly big mistake not to have her along with everyone "On Tour"...her looks however...hmm...well, they're still cool...just totally different than what I expected. I guess though with them all growing up more, and aging, you can't expect the same style to still be there. I can't tell what the deal is with the Kaori resemblance...like Krispy said...the art seems to mesh the two together. Like that one screenshot:

^From Zoe's bio...that seems weird, we've only seen shots of her boarding. I guess they were only concept shots, or something.

Honestly, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't dissapointed. Looks like EA wanted to boost the skiing side of the game (because at this stage, I doubt many people care about it) by having one of the biggest charecters cross over to the dark side.

As for the look, I'm suprised with it. Zoe was always punk, which is a form of rock anyway, so why she needs to look like a saturday morning metal reject is beyond me. Still, I'm holding out to see what she looks like when we get a look at some of the customizable outfits.

Edit: Though now that I think about it, EA has always had a few outfits for each charecter that was pretty questionable. Zennish pants anyone?

i think it's cool either way. i think Zoe will kick ass if she's on two pieces or one piece. i really like her, she looks freakin rad, they just need to add the face paint and she would be SMOKIN. i like it, a little distanced from the kinda strange punk rock/goth kinda mood of the last one. Yeah, I don't mind whether the characters are skiing or not, doesn't bother me since it's customizable.

Her outfit is totally Saturday morning, that's the perfect term for it. Hair is down, sweatshirt on, sweatpants on, and...suspenders? How hardcore does suspenders make you?

Skiing is one of the aspects of the game that I'm most excited for actually, and not just because of Zoe. I don't think of skiing as "the dark side" at all really, I'm sort of excited it's in the game. It's your choice to have really negative feelings about it, but from watching the videos released with skiing I think skiing looks absolutely sick.

I am a little shocked about the look though. Doesn't really seem like Zoe to me. I think Allegra looks more like Zoe than Zoe does. I'm not too disappointed though, characters are bound to change between games.

I hope nobody minds Zoe came out this week. I specifically asked EA it be her so the speculation would end already.

Ummm... this is just odd. Yes, we've seen the pigtails, but everything else is, like stated, out of Zoe's nature. She doesn't even feel like Bif Naked anymore! She's more like SSX 1 Zoe than anything. Better than being butch-a-rella, but... eh. I'm sure we'll love her when the time comes, but right now, it's total shock.

Hey, if you like the skiing, that's cool. I'm not ragging on anyone for it. I have always prefered boarding, that's all.

As for Zoe's look, I think I'm gonna take it with a pinch of salt. One thing EA proved with SSX3 is that they're willing to change design aspects of the game right up until release. So I'm guessing the charecter art we're looking at now is what the charecters look like with a random assortment of gear, since while Zoe and Allegra both look cool, I don't think anyone would disagree that they look fairly different to their SSX3 persona's.

As for the skiing....I'll deal wirth it

I'm like 99% you'll have a choice. If you can select the mode you travel with a CAC, I'm sure you can do it with an established character.


Nah dude, SSX Zoe had more personality than all of them. This is the most "normal" we've ever seen Zoe, and while it's not a bad thing (I like that we're seeing another side of Zoe) I hope we can dress her up in all the nutty gear she usually wears. Especially the hair!

I, for one, really love the new Zoe. But I'm new here, so who the hell cares what I think.

Zoe is one of the last characters that I would have expected to see on skis, but two planks make me happy in my pants, so... I'm satisfied. And all that leather and crazy stuff was just her snowboard gear. Everyone knows it's easier to ski in pyjamas!
