Wait wait wait wait wait wait..... SSX 4 is on PS3!?

and where did ya heard that? since most likely the ps3 won't be out until fall 2006 for the US(at least that's what the rumors are right now)

ssx4 will come out for all current consoles, just like ssx3 did.

But yea, SSX 4 will be for PS2. There are some rumors that it will be for the next gen Xbox. But they are just that...rumors. It is although highly doubtable.

yeah, technically, ea hasn't even said what systems it will be for, we are all assuming it will be for all current consoles....just cause that will make more monies...

I hadn't visited in months and early last year the last word from EA was the next SSX installment wouldn't come out until the next gen consoles (PS3) debuted, so I was convinced it was for PS3 until I fished around the forums a bit and got reacquainted. But anyhow, it's for PS2.

Well, in the Game Informer article, it said that SSX 4 will be for PS2, XBOX, GC, DS, and PSP.

EA never said anything about it being on PS3. That was a speculation that some people on this forum had, nothing more.

Although it is possible that is will come out for Xbox 360, because officially, EA hasn't put it on their site yet, with what consoles it'll be on. It is still possible that they haven't told us that they are making it for a "next generation console" like NFS:MW.

Honestly it has to be for PS2 simply because the graphics from the screens don't look next gen. That's just an assumption, but it's a pretty good one if you ask me.

PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PSP, DS, and a next-gen console. It is on their one page NFSMW page on eagames.com. It says it on the list of consoles it is coming out for.

once u get the game, make a net setting and change it to sue a specific dns data code (i'll find link later) once u do that, instead of using the normal site it links to (some sony thing in game) you can go to a web browser that gametabs made

(oh, psp has wireless, so, no computer needed, yea)

actually SSX4 is coming out on the ps3, and it will be here alot sooner than fall 2006. That is, if sony keeps its promises.

Guess we will find out for sure at E3. My money is on a spring release for the ps3. :yes

I don't know about that early of a release on the PS3, Laidback. Considering Sony and Toshiba have teamed up on a new, unified next-gen format. Making a whole new disc format that combines the best of blu ray and HD DVD might take a while I imagine. The biggest factor I think against SSX 4 being on PS3 is graphics.. Come on, SSX 4 so far looks no where near as good as some of these PS3 game screens.
