Fireworks is SSX...

I have always liked the fireworks in SSX. In Tricky the fireworks were very good and you noticed all the time. It also made the game more... "Cartoonish" or something... In SSX3 the fireworks were more dimmed and not that noticeable, but it made the game more real and down to earth style. I wonder how it will be in SSX4... How would you like it?

WTF? Wow, SSX4 topics are starting to just get more and more pointless.

Ofcourse they're gonna keep them, why wouldn't they? It's a somewhat trivial aspect of the game aswell...but we needed the topic.

Also, the fireworks in SSX 3 were at relatively the same "level" as Tricky, I have no idea what your talking about. :poke

The fireworks isn't really realistic. During the All Peak Jam in SSX 3, after finish the Ruthless Ridge section, fireworks came out at the end. In reality, the boarder would be charred through the fireworks.

ssx, to me, was never meant to be realistic, the only reason it kinda felt like that in three was because of the mountain/lodge deal.

I hope some of the flair from tricky comes back but some of 3 stays as well...

I remember testing the early version of SSX3 and mentioned to Larry LaPierre that I thought the fireworks looked too much like powerups and I would start riding towards them for no reason. Maybe that was a reason for the change? Anyway, that's all I said to him all day and that moment was really awkward. :heh
